overview

Lenscraft Studio books weddings a year in advance, and almost every booking starts with the portfolio. The previous site cropped images into rigid tiles and buried pricing three clicks deep. I designed a full-bleed, gallery-first website with proofing galleries, transparent packages and a contact flow tuned for couples browsing on phones.

challenge

Photography sites live or die on image quality, yet full-resolution galleries can grind mobile connections to a halt. The studio also needed private client galleries with expiring links, without paying for a separate proofing service.

approach

I built responsive image pipelines that serve art-directed crops per breakpoint, added private password-less galleries with expiring links, and rewrote the enquiry form to capture dates, venues and package interest up front so fewer messages go back and forth.
