Tempo Watches
overview
Tempo makes small-batch mechanical watches and authenticates pre-owned pieces. Selling a four-figure watch online demands extraordinary trust: movement details, servicing history and returns all have to be beyond question. I built a storefront engineered around that trust, plus a servicing booking system for owners.
challenge
Each watch has unique servicing needs and each pre-owned piece has its own papers and history. A standard product template flattened those differences, and the servicing diary lived in a spreadsheet that double-booked twice in one spring.
approach
I built per-piece product pages with servicing timelines and papers, a booking flow tied to the actual workshop diary, and a checkout with escrow-style staged payments for pre-owned pieces. Every page carries the authentication story front and centre.
what was included
- Per-piece product pages with servicing timelines
- Workshop servicing diary with live availability
- Staged payments for pre-owned pieces
- Authentication and papers section on every listing
